Pros and cons of Adobe Illustrator Draw app for iPhone and iPad
Adobe Illustrator Draw app good for
Worked on some of my pictures with the app. Many possibilities. Probably one of the best made Apps at the time.
If you are looking for a simple to use vector drawing app, you cant go wrong with Adobe Draw. The only thing that I would like to see is being able to limit the size of the stroke width. With this as an update, it would easily be a five star app.
This is by far the best drawing app available on the App Store, especially with this new update! You will not be disappointed, its mind boggling that an app of this quality is available for free.
Wow cant say a thing bad about the entire suite of Adobe products. Lol I wish I worked for this company. Its brought my designs to the next level. Thank Adobe!!!
I tested it, and its kinda pretty good. Although it is kinda little laggy but thats not really bother me. This app no need to pay anything so thats what got me interested into downloading this app.
Love the app. I tend to draw on paper because online or mobile was too hard. But this app made it easier.
Some bad moments
Without pen / bezier tool is hard to work with this app. Precise tools is essential for professional work. A lot of people agree with me and we are wainting for this. When this will be released? Check out the autodesk graphic...
key feature for me is missing. app is good, but unusable. no export, no stars.
I do really love this app and the way the brushes and tools are set up. The fact that I love this so much makes it painful that there are no useful export options. Unable to export anything other than a low quality jpeg. No .ai, .pdf, .svg or anything that allows it to support vector graphics after the export. I was really excited when I saw this in my list of apps needing an update, but still unchanged. I keep it around hopeful that one day Adobe sees the light and adds an export feature. Again, this is a brilliant app. But if you dont own or cant afford to subscribe to Adobe CC, then there really is no point in even downloading this. You will be like me and many others who have created art and graphics projects that we love, only to have them trapped inside of this app with no way to get them out. There are other alternatives that have some great export features. I use another app now almost exclusively. I would switch back to this and sing its praises in a heartbeat if exporting was added though.
The new update is more confusing to work with and the brushes are way different. Cant use it anymore..
Without Adobe CC (desktop subscription required), this app is just a useless toy as it cannot export to a standard vector file.
On the draw cloud theres a write up for Wacom and how great this picture turned out using this fancy pen. So, I bought the fancy pen and only after checking on Adobe.com "support its on the way." That was from someone official in 2014. Its two years later, add the Wacom SDK so happy nerds could use their fancy pencils.
